Outside of Studio

Brief History:
The building was a datacenter which housed servers, ISP stuff and a phone switch. I owned an ISP/ phone company from 1997-2004. I sold my company and now have the "datacenter" that will be converted to a studio - I hope.

Before my life in the ISP world I was in a band that traveled the Southern, Eastern, and Midwest U.S. from 1990-1996. We were hard rock and I was guitar player (or tried to be :-). I discovered AOL in 1992 and started putting our band dates, forum etc on AOL. You could actually do stuff like that then. I also discovered you could create a website and have a domain name - 4am.com. SO I figured all that crap out and we put our website up back around 1993ish. We also recorded 2 CDs and put them online as well. Big stuff back then. I remember showcasing and we were tabling a seminar on the Internet and future of music. One reporter asked me "Do you ever think music over the Internet will be mainstream?". I believe my answer was "I don't see why not", but I sure wish I had the video from the TV station recording that day. Anyway I am done with the ISP/phone world and ready to take on music again. It's a much less stressful existence.
